At our workshop, you don’t need to worry about a thing. Fox Spirit has everything prepared, from chemicals and equipment to photographic paper. All you need to bring is your favorite black-and-white film negative and a willingness to learn.

What is the Darkroom Printing Workshop?
This workshop offers a hands-on experience of the black-and-white printing process. You’ll explore enlarger equipment, print your own photos, and witness your results come to life on the spot. Connect with fellow film photography enthusiasts, share experiences, and fuel your passion.
Workshop Details
- Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday
- Morning: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
- Location: 38A Hồ Hảo Hớn, Cô Giang Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
- Participants: Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced film photographers
- Fee: 770,000 VND per person
- Duration: 2.5 hours per session
Workshop Content
The workshop includes:
- Introduction and Preparation: An overview of black-and-white printing techniques, equipment, and necessary chemicals.
- Detailed Guidance: Step-by-step instructions on using the enlarger, adjusting light, focusing, and other printing techniques.
- Hands-On Practice: You’ll work directly with the enlarger to create prints from your black-and-white film negatives.
What Fox Spirit Provides
- Darkroom chemicals
- Photographic paper (one 8×10-inch sheet for a contact sheet and one 5×7-inch sheet for your selected image)
- Enlarger and all necessary equipment
- Detailed, hands-on guidance on printing and darkroom techniques
Notes
- Additional costs may apply for extra printing paper (you’ll be notified in advance).
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.
- Workshops are held on Saturdays and Sundays. The last day to cancel for Saturday sessions is Thursday, and for Sunday sessions, it’s Friday. Cancellations made after the allowed period will receive a 50% refund of the workshop fee.
